I have been dragged into the blogosphere. I wish I could say it was kicking and screaming, but it was nothing so bold — more akin to timidity and trepidation. Given my fascination with technology, and my desire to be among the early adopters, it’s a little strange that it took me so long to emerge from my cocoon and write my first post. What’s important, I suppose, is that I’m here.
This is the first post of Siege Curmudgeon. The title is meant (perhaps weakly) to be a riff on the concept of “Road Warrior”. Since I work from home, my experience is probably as close to the exact opposite of a road warrior as you can get; hence the Bizarro title. Working from home lends itself to an interesting set of experiences, and that’s what this blog is about — the adventures of the Siege Curmudgeon.

I look forward to more musings from someone else who spends most of their time at home. My own work-at-home experience revolves around diapers, runny noses, and bottles. Like you, I enjoy it, but I do find humour in it.
Thanks for starting this blog.
